Fellow female entrepreneurs inspire me so much, and I love getting the opportunity to document their personalities and passions with a branding shoot! It’s so fun to bring out their one-of-a-kind beauty with my lens while showcasing their talents and sneaking a peek behind the scenes of their business.
Annabelle of Austin small business Good A.M. reached out to me in need of high-quality branding photos to showcase all the endeavors she’s passionate about, including printmaking, professional organizing, and interior design. If you’re a local, you may have seen her selling her prints at artisan markets around town! As a mom of twin five-year-old boys, this talented creative hadn’t had the opportunity to invest in professional images yet and felt it was time. She sent me loads of ideas, and we spent intentional time planning. I’m so glad we could make this branding shoot happen, and I’m thrilled to share a sampling of the highlights!
The locations of this branding shoot were so important since Annabelle’s business is all about aesthetically pleasing artwork, organization, and impeccable design. Showcasing her personality was also a top priority! We decided to shoot her products and a few behind-the-scenes photos at Mira Mira Studio in Austin, then more portraiture at Eberly. It was a pretty wild coincidence that Eberly used to be a printmaking space in its previous life! I also loved the juxtaposition of the bright, colorful feel of Mira Mira with the moodier, historic feeling of Eberly.
These are all things I’m happy to talk you through when planning your Austin branding shoot! These sessions are about so much more than just standing in front of the camera and smiling. They’re a creative collaboration, and I love every step of bringing your brand to life through photography.
Annabelle added a film package to her branding shoot to give some portraits a grittier, vintage-inspired feel. We shot a few frames in each new location, and they were the perfect addition to the session. I especially LOVE how the photos in the bathroom at Eberly turned out! They’re reminiscent of 1970s party photos, and I’m obsessed. They also showcase Annabelle’s hilarious, fun-loving personality!
I now offer film photography as an add-on for all portrait sessions and wedding packages. If you want me to include this service in your branding shoot, simply note that in your inquiry. Thank you again to Annabelle for making this session so much fun! The next time I need some new artwork for my home, I’ll definitely be hitting up Good A.M.’s sweet selection of prints.
