MY PHILOSOPHY
My inspiration for documenting weddings always comes from my clients themselves - your emotions, your love, your relationships - with everyone at your wedding, not just with each other - these all things that inspire me deeply. I don’t look to Pinterest for inspiration, I look at you.
You are beautiful, awkward, silly, hilarious, different, utterly unique. I never want my clients to feel like they need to be models in front of my camera, I want you to Be YOU.
My approach is to keep this process as relaxed and you as possible. While I always strive to create the most organic images possible, I know we all need a little direction, so I will guide my clients into the moments during portraits. I always love to get to know my clients before the wedding. Let’s get on the phone, let’s meet for coffee. Let’s become friends.
Being your photographer is a very intimate relationship. I always want my clients to feel that they can truly be themselves around me. That’s when the magic happens.

Wedding collections start at $7,450 for 8 hours and two photographers. Clients typically can expect to invest $11,850 for full day coverage, second photographer, an engagement session and an heirloom album and 35 mm film included. Collections can be customized based on your needs!

CONSULTATION | let’s hop on a call and chat about the details and get to know one another.

BOOKING | I like to make this as easy as possible. I send everything over electronically. 50% is due to book and the balance is due 1 month out from your wedding.

ENGAGEMENT SESSION | This will be a great time to hang out and get comfortable being photographed. We can plan this at a favorite spot of yours or I can help brainstorm locations!

TIMELINE | I’m more than a photographer, I am also your guide: We Will Create a custom WEDDING DAY timeline. I’m here to make this part of the process as easy as possible!

QUESTIONNAIRE & SHOT LIST | About 6 weeks BEFORE your wedding I will send you a questionnaire to fill in with all of the details and your family shot list!

BALANCE DUE | Final invoices are due 4 weeks before the wedding/event.

Questionnaire due | 2 weeks before your event I will reach out with any questions I have to finalize your timeline.

YOUR WEDDING DAY | I will be a fly on the wall shooting with my signature documentary style, guiding when needing.

SLIDESHOW | Within 1 week of your wedding I will send you a preview slideshow with many images that tell the story of your day (because I can never narrow it down!).

DELIVERY | 8-10 weeks after your wedding I will deliver your wedding images to a gallery where you can download them all!

HEIRLOOM ALBUM | If an album is included in your collection I will gather your favorite images then design the album BEFORE sendING it to you for approval.

FAQ
What is your approach to a wedding day? What is your style?
My style is a combination of documentary and editorial. While 90% of the day I like to capture the moments as they unfold as organically as possible, I do also really love editorial portraits and strive to create a great balance of unique portraits mixed in with the emotions of the moment.
What is your experience? How long have you been shooting?
I have been shooting since I was 14. I started out taking film photography courses at the MFA Houston and then went on to get my BFA in Photography. I have been shooting weddings and portraits full time for 10 years!
Will you help us with our wedding day timeline?
Yes! I think it’s so important to work alongside my clients in the photo timeline of your day. I am more than just your photographer, I love to be here by your side to give as much assistance as possible.
What gear do you work with?
I work with two canon cameras when shooting weddings. I use the Canon 5d Mark IV. I also use primarily my 35mm lens and 135mm lens.
What do you recommend for our wedding day coverage?
If you are having a traditional wedding and want getting ready and exit photos taken, then 8 hours is generally necessary. If you are not interested in full coverage of reception, then 6 hours is totally fine!
Do you recommend a second photographer?
I require a second photographer for any weddings with more than 50 guests. I recommend a second photographer if you are hoping for candid and group photos of your guests during cocktail hour, and if each of you are wanting getting ready photos. It’s also important to have a second photographer for opposite angles of ceremony (i.e. getting each reaction as the bride walks down the aisle). Overall it’s always beneficial! With that said, I have shot many weddings alone, and usually shoot smaller weddings by myself, so if you have less than 50 guests, we can chat about if a second shooter is necessary for you or not!
Should we book an engagement session?
I love engagement shoots because they’re such a fun way to celebrate your love and break the ice with being photographed. Let’s all admit it, we are not used to being professionally photographed! I get it. I’m not either. But it is SO fun when you get into it. The greatest thing about an engagement shoot is celebrating your love at places that really mean something to you, like the coffee shop you met or a restaurant you really love. Or just walking your dog! We can make it unique to you. Think of it as a fun date with me tagging along. Your session gives us a chance to hang out and get to know one another before the big day which is so important for feeling more relaxed when the wedding day arrives!
What should we expect after our wedding?
I send a preview out to you within 1 week of your big day. Within 8 weeks you will get your full gallery of images which you can download and share with your friends and family!
WE'RE READY! HOW DO WE BOOK?
As soon as you confirm that you’d like to book, I send a quote to both you and your partner. The quote includes a contract and invoice for both partners to sign and pay the 50% retainer fee. You can pay with an e-check or credit card. This must be signed/paid within 1 week of sending the quote. The balance is due 1 month before your wedding date via the original invoice.
Do you offer albums or printed products?
Yes! I think printing your memories is SO important. My gallery offers a wide range of prints, frames, cards, and albums.
