Vanessa and Mark’s fall wedding at South Congress Hotel was full of so much creativity and warmth. The stylish couple spent the day with 50 of their closest family and friends. All the while, South Congress Hotel wined and dined them with a multi-course meal and an amazing dessert. It was truly an incredible wedding! One of the most memorable moments was the father-daughter dance. The two had so much fun dancing together, and everyone was cheering and taking pictures.

The South Congress Hotel is such a beautiful venue. One of the most advantageous aspects of marrying at South Congress Hotel is that you and your guests can stay there! And, since guests can stay right on-site, so you don’t have to worry about transportation at the end of the night! Not to mention, they have amazing suites that you can take advantage of for getting ready. Both bridal parties can get ready in luxury suites, just steps away from the wedding itself. Of course, there are dozens of boutique hotels and vacation rentals on South Congress Street if you need to accommodate a very large bridal party.

Fall Wedding at South Congress Hotel

For the wedding ceremony, Vanessa wore a sleek dress that put a modern spin on 1920s style. Then, for the reception, she changed into a short beaded dress paired with a feather purse. Vanessa’s bridal bouquet was a stunning statement piece, featuring plum, wine, and white flowers. All were tied together with a splash of fresh eucalyptus! Mark, meanwhile, dressed to the nines in a dark teal suit and black velvet loafers.

When designing their wedding, Vanessa and Mark worked with the amazing team at Pearl Events Austin to craft a design centered around modern fall colors, with a minimalist touch. They developed a palette of jewel tones, including teal, burgundy, and emerald, to tie in all of the elements throughout the day.

The couple used simple modern letterpress paper throughout their celebration, from the invitations to the signage. They also included large white acrylic signs with black print, which stood out wonderfully. In addition, to allow the flowers from Stems Floral Design to shine, the reception table decor was kept simple with white linens, simple letterpress menus, and candles.
