South Congress Austin Family Lifestyle Session

Capturing the Pickett family for this Austin family lifestyle session in the South Congress neighborhood was a delight. I had so much fun getting to know the Picketts and their adorable toddler, James! This session combined all of my favorite elements of a family session, starting and ending at the Picketts’ beautiful home with plenty of candid street photography and exploring in the middle. I’m so excited to share the highlights from this sweet session on the blog today!

Austin Family Lifestyle Session

The Pickett family invited me into their home off of bustling South Congress Street in Austin to follow along their weekend morning routine. We began our session walking around South Congress, checking out their little boy James’ favorite spots. Signs on windows and street signs were fascinating to him! We touched fun plants, looked at all the colorful Christmas trees, and explored the neighborhood’s little nooks and crannies. After the morning walk, we returned to their house so James could have a snack. Then, the family had silly times on the couch with their sweet dog, Happy!
