I love collaborating with other women entrepreneurs to create something that celebrates the business they’ve built. It’s my favorite part of capturing Austin brand photography! So when the Aras Haus team reached out, I was so excited to equip them with images that reflected their brand.
Aras Haus is a business expansion agency that helps entrepreneurs and small-business owners scale their operations sustainably. Sarah and Tara, the dynamic duo behind that mission, wanted photos that showcased their partnership and the firm’s all-inclusive model. With a vision for interior-design-driven imagery and a soft, grounded color palette, we headed to House for Dreamers, a remodeled midcentury home in the heart of Austin.

My approach to Austin brand photography is about much more than a portrait session. Across digital and film mediums, my aim isn’t just to photograph a business or a product—it’s to capture the heart and soul behind the brand. You. Your style. Your relationships.
It’s not just about what I observe, though. I like to think of these as collaborative creative sessions: I bring the camera, and you bring the vision. Sarah and Tara wanted their photos to feel warm, curated, and subtly soulful—reflecting their friendship and the intentional growth that Aras Haus supports. The imagery they envisioned was full of natural light, earthy greens, and warm woods, with touches of artisanal craftsmanship. The search for a location with a cozy yet elevated character that would feel like stepping into the world of Aras Haus led us to House for Dreamers.

As you step into House for Dreamers, you can tell how much love and intention were poured into its restoration. The home’s midcentury character has been richly preserved, while modern touches throughout add freshness and contrast. But the home’s best feature has to be its massive windows. Natural light pours into the interior, creating a clean, dynamic backdrop for Austin brand photography.
Our session began outside, in front of my backdrop. We captured a few editorial-style portraits of Sarah, Tara, and their Account Manager, Alice. Then, we ventured into the house for some shots of the team at work, highlighting the partnerships that guide Aras Haus’ unique approach to consulting.
Slowly and thoughtfully, we made our way into every corner of the home, shooting a mix of portraits, lifestyle imagery, and design details. Finally, we stepped outside to the pool—and this was where Sarah and Tara’s connection really shone through. As they dipped their toes in the water and soaked up the Texas sunshine, it was impossible not to reflect on the beauty of what they’ve built and look forward with excitement to all that’s still to come for Aras Haus.

I’m so grateful that Sarah and Tara trusted me with their vision for this session. If you also believe that Austin brand photography should be artful and honest, then we’re already a great fit. I would love to hear about the business you’ve built, and your vision for capturing it. Reach out with the details—I’ll be in touch!
