Candid Family Lifestyle Session in Austin

I had a blast photographing this candid family lifestyle session with the Zendehs and their two-year-old son, Robin. This session was my second time capturing their family since Robin, affectionately known as Binky, turned one last year. I was so honored that his adoring parents invited me back to their Austin home to document their morning routine. We captured all the silly toddler antics, from Robin’s favorite toys to snack time and mid-morning snuggles!

Candid Family Lifestyle Session

I’m obsessed with the candid moments captured at a family lifestyle session like this one. Although I love throwing in a few portraits here and there, my primary goal with these sessions is to hang out with you and your family, allowing the kiddos to lead and show me their favorite parts of their home. For this session with the Zendehs, we began with reading on the couch, which flowed into exploring the kitchen drawers and having playtime in the living room! Little Robin ran the show, which allowed me to capture his emerging personality. 

The Zendeh’s backyard is amazing, with lots of room for a toddler to explore. So, of course, we had to spend some time out there. Robin has plenty of outdoor toys, but in true toddler fashion, a stick he found entertained him the most! Afterward, he and his parents headed inside to read more stories and have snack time. We finished the session in the living room, where Robin received plenty of snuggles from his mom and dad (just look at that smile!).
