Avva and Jason’s wedding at Laguna Gloria was long-awaited! The two have been together since their freshman year at Trinity College, and it wasn’t long before both knew they had found the one. They also knew that they wanted a lowkey wedding day with just their immediate families present. Accordingly, once they decided on both of their gorgeous venues, the pieces quickly fell into place with minimal stress involved!

A Dreamy 90’s Bridal Look

All day long, Avva rocked an ethereal slip dress by Galvan London that gave me major Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy vibes. She paired it with a fingertip length veil with a blusher for a look that screamed 90’s cool girl. So effortless and chic! Meanwhile, Jason opted for a classic black tux paired with black dress shoes. His late grandfather’s cuff links completed the look for a sweet homage to family.

Secluded Garden Ceremony at Laguna Gloria

The couple’s ceremony location, Laguna Gloria, boasts a sculpture garden, views of Lake Austin, and plenty of live oak trees. It is a serene oasis amid the hustle and bustle of the city—ideal for an intimate ceremony! After exchanging their vows (and plenty of golden hour portraits), the couple headed to a private room at Jeffrey’s Austin to celebrate with their families over a delicious dinner. I always love shooting at Jeffrey’s. It’s the perfect cozy gathering space for foodie couples and their VIPs! What’s more, the Clarksville neighborhood where the restaurant is located holds a special place in Avva and Jason’s hearts. The two lived in the neighborhood after first moving to Austin together, and they frequently walked to Jeffrey’s for celebratory dinners. We had so much fun running around the streets and taking photos to commemorate that time in their lives.
