Dreamy Fall Wedding in Austin

Gretchen and Nicholas’ fall wedding in Austin was the stuff of autumn lovers’ dreams! Every last detail reflected the season and filled the day with warmth and cheer. I love it when my couples infuse their own unique style into their day, and these two certainly did that!

Fall Wedding in Austin at South Congress Hotel

Gretchen and Nicholas chose to host their ceremony and their reception at Austin’s very own South Congress Hotel. This boutique hotel has midcentury modern vibes and just exudes effortless cool. Plus, the food there is excellent! It’s truly one of my favorite venues in the city, so I was so excited to return there for this wedding and revisit some favorite photo spots. 

While the hotel is gorgeous all on its own, this couple transformed it into an autumn wonderland for their wedding! With the help of their planner from Bird Dog Wedding and their florist, Earl Grey Floral, the hotel’s back patio and adjacent dining room became a welcoming gathering space for all of their family and friends. Copper cafe seating surrounded a mixture of round and farm-style tables topped with white tablecloths and turquoise runners. Meanwhile, cafe lights gave the celebration a warm glow that complemented the red, orange, and yellow floral arrangements. The couple’s vision brought to life was so spectacular, and their vendors could not have done a more wonderful job!
