Intimate Ranch Wedding in Roundtop, Texas

Devon and Matthew’s ranch wedding in Roundtop, Texas was the culmination of such an incredible love story! The two met while working for the family that owns Torchy’s Tacos, an iconic taco chain based out of Austin. Devon was their nanny and Matthew was the talented man behind the scenes making the eyecatching signage seen in their restaurants. Soon after they met a friendship blossomed, and the rest is history. 

DIY Details for a Private Ranch Wedding

Devon, Matthew, and their friends and family all banded together to create the DIY wedding of dreams! Their friends who own Torchy’s provided the gorgeous ranch property and felt so overjoyed to have introduced the happy couple. Their cake was also provided by a friend, but could easily have come from a bakery with its on-trend design and floral detailing. Plus, Devon did her own hair and makeup. I loved that this couple took a simple approach to their day. They didn’t become bogged down in the details, and instead just enjoyed being with their closest friends and loved ones.

As a result, the couple’s ranch wedding was the best kind of lowkey affair. The two had time to sit back, relax, and absorb all of the love around them without any of the stress typically associated with a wedding day. You could tell that their guests were having the most amazing time! And, it’s impossible not to sense the deep love that Devon and Matthew share when you see them together. The affection that they have for one another is palpable, and that made all the difference on their wedding day!
